NYRA President Alex Koroknay-Palicz is calling for NYRA members to help in a national voting-age protest to be held on election day. “We need people willing to organize and hold a protest in their local communities,” Koroknay-Palicz explained in a letter mailed to NYRA members. “The substance of this protest will be the local protests in many different areas of the country,” he explained. “Having many protests all over the country will be effective to spread our message,” a message that says that all U.S. citizens should have the right to vote, age notwithstanding.
