The Minneapolis Television Network recently held a live, one-hour special entitled “Youth & Politics,” and included among their guests Maxwell Hall (President, NYRA – Washington County) and Amy O’Connell (President, NYRA – Twin Cities).

I support a voting age of 16 for federal primaries. This should mean that girls and boys who are 16-17 should be allowed to vote in primaries for the House of Representatives, the Senate and for the President. Girls and boys who know a lot about government and about politics would contribute to a good section of the electorate.
