Hein Released, Replaced By Koroknay-Palicz

NYRA President Avi Hein was removed from office by the Board of Directors in an expected vote during a meeting on Wednesday, June 21. Hein was replaced by interim president Alex Koroknay-Palicz, who also serves as acting treasurer. Koroknay-Palicz will step down as acting treasurer as soon as the Board of Directors chooses a replacement. Koroknay-Palicz’ term will end later this year after the annual meeting of members.
